***The Workplace***

These are my recollections as to how it was at work, way back then: but please bear in mind that some of this was nearly 50 years ago.
I am not saying this is the way things should be, more that was the way it was.
Well actually it is they way I think it was, some of this as i said was a while ago.
Things have also changed an awful lot since then as well.
so let's not hear howls of outrage from the current workers or managers
I am sure you are all doing a brilliant job

• Ken types: Old people and new technology.
• World championships: A sport at which we dominated the world.
• The valium kid: The least dynamic worker I ever knew. 1961
• Authority: A question of, a clash of wills.
• Sheep: We had a lot and then not.
• John: Bravest man I ever met?
• Whinger: It ain't easy to be this miserable.
• Management: Sometimes things got done this way.
  
  My reflections from my time at work...a [mostly] more serious recounting of things....
  Or another view of history, a lot less official than the usual explanations.
  
  
• Start: My first year at work.
• Computers: Mini computers and Micro processors.
• Ferrys & Zcars: Commonwealth vehicles and transport on the area

• Stores: The store and purchasing over the years.

• Mirikata: Jindalee, the OHR early days.1974?
• Onslow: The Pilbara region 1980.
• Moresby: Navy, oceanography, a life at sea...1983(?)
• Broome: The last Omega trial 1985.
